What Does It Take To become An ICT Student?

Being a student is not easy. There are lot of things to do in order to become an outstanding and excellent in school. It requires patient, hard work and determination. Wanting is not enough.
As a student, it is hard for me maintain a high grades in my different subjects especially in TLE. What does it really takes to become an ICT student? Of course, it needs a lot of knowledge about computers. You must know how to operate one from the basic to the most difficult one. You must remember all the lessons that were discussed. Because if you won't, it will be hard for you to do the given task. You should also apply what you have learned. It should not be left in your mind only. It also requires patience and a strong memory. You should also put your heart into it.
ICT is not all about your grades. It is also about what you have learned during the class.

My Dream, My Future

High school life will be over soon. As a preparation for the future, a student should have decided what course he will take up in college. And as a student, I had already decided what course I am going to take.
I want to be a teacher someday. I want to share all the knowledge I know. In order for me to achieve my goal, I have to take the risk and do my very best. Inspiration is not enough. I have to take actions. In reaching my dreams, it takes hard work, determination and passion. Others may despise the thought of me being a teacher but I am not deterred. This is what I want. This is my life. It is my future. It is my decision to make, not theirs. If I am going to listen to them, I know that I will not be happy about it. It may scare the hell out of me to stand in front of many people, but I know I can. Who said that I can't? I once read a book that says: "Do the  things everyday that scare you the most." Being fearless doesn't mean 100% unafraid. It is being terrified but you just jump anyway.

Change: It Starts With Me

There is no permanent in this world except change. Change always happens all the time whether we like it or not. But there are people who are afraid of change. They can't accept that everything that happens in their life is part of it. But it depends on us if  we are willing to change for the better. For me, change starts with myself.
I know that it is not easy to change for the better. I once thought that I should not change myself into someone different from the real me. But I realized, I have to change. Not because I want to be that person they want me to be. It is because that I want to change for my own good. I want to improve myself. I want to remove all  of my bad characteristics. I want to be a better person. Better than before. It is not them why I changed. It is me. I may not remove all the bad things about me, but at least, I did something to change myself into a better person. I was not afraid. Hesitant at first, but I just jumped anyway. :)

Reflection of the Third Grading

Another grading is about to end. As the days passed by, I've learned many things. I have done many things. Learning always excites me. I have learned how to make a web page. I had the chance to express what is in my mind through Blogger. I had so much fun though, very stressful because we had to rush many projects. But that's life. So, I have to strive harder! :)

New Year, New Me

Change always starts in your mind. The way you think determines the way you feel. And the way you feel influences the way you act.
Changing for the better isn't easy. Trying to change myself into someone they want me to be is kinda hard. I don't want to change for the sake of others. I want them to accept me for who I am, not for what I am. But, I came to realize that maybe, there are attitudes about me that they don't like. Attitudes that annnoy them. You know, personality is very important to an individual.
Before the new year arrive, past memories come back to my mind. Sometimes bad. Sometimes good. These are the memories that affect me. Everytime I remember those memories, they upset me  and make me want to change for the better. And now, I really want to do it. It's already 2012! I want to change. Not only for them, but for myself  too. It won't be easy but I'll do my best!

Keeping In Mind Our Mother Tongue

"Ang hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wika ay higit pa sa mabaho at malansang isda." -Gat Jose Rizal
That's the famous quotation of our national hero about our national language. We are aware that Philippines has 87 dialects and our national language is Filipino.
Different languages, different dialects. But we are ought to keep in mind our native language. Learning different languages like English isn't bad. It has been used as an international language due to many countries, almost all over the world use English, including Philippines. They say that if you have a broken English or you don't know how to speak in English, you are an addlebrained person. But being not good in English doesn't mean that you are idiot. If you can't speak it, you'd better use the language you accustomed to use. Using your native language means you are proud of who you are. You don't have to be good in speaking different languages. What's important is that you can express yourself freely without trying hard to speak in another language. Be proud.
